摘　　要：弗吉尼亚·伍尔夫的时间这一主题一直以来都是研究者所关注的难题。她本人指出,她的时间可分为钟表里的时间(time on the clock)与头脑里的时间(time in the mind)。在精神世界里,作者把时间分为若干部分,随着个人意识的跳跃,读者跟随人物任意地穿梭于过去、现在与未来之间。每个不同的时间段被赋予了空间性。故事正是在那一段段被赋予了空间性的时间里发生、展开的。本文以伍尔夫的两部作品《达洛维夫人》和《到灯塔去》为例,论证其时间的空间性问题。The theme of‘time’ in Virginia Woolf’s work is a difficult subject for many researchers. Woolf, herself, also says that there are two kinds of times in her works-time on the clock and time in the mind. In the character’s mind, time is cut into several parts, incorporating the jump of individual consciousness, and the readers follow the character coming and going between the past, present and the future. Every different period of time is given the characteristic of spatiality. The story is unfolded during each spatial time. This article discusses the spatiality of time in Woolf’s two works-Mrs Dalloway and To the Lighthouse.
