摘　　要：根据科学引文索引(SCI)数据库和中国科学技术信息研究所提供的数据,分别从数量和质量两个角度统计华南理工大学在2001-2010年度被SCI网络版收录的科技论文情况,并对其进行定量分析和客观评价。结果表明,华南理工大学在2001-2010年SCI收录论文的数量和质量上均有了明显提高,学校实施的科技论文奖励政策具有良好的引导作用。还对学校下一步的科技论文评价机制和相关政策提出建议。Scientific paper is an important way of basic research outputs.According to the data of the science citation index （SCI）database and institute of scientific and technical information of China,this paper carries out the statistical analysis on the SCI papers of south China university of Technology in 2001 -2010,respectively from the angles of quantity and quality.It has carried on the quantitative analysis and objective evaluation.Results show that the SCI papers of South China University of Technology in 2001 -2010 have improved obviously both in quantity and quality,which proves that the sci-ence and technology thesis incentives has a good guide.The paper also puts forward the proposal on evaluation mechanism and policy of paper.
