摘  要:应用型本科的课程教学,不仅是注重学生对知识的理解,更要加强学生对知识的应用和相应技能的训练。对于理论性较强的《物理化学》课程,也要加强学生相关知识应用的学习。本文以Kelvin公式的教学为例来说明在理论课教学中,如何帮助学生活学活用相关知识、提高学生理解知识的能力,充分体现理论知识的应用。讲解公式推导时,选择学生易懂的方法进行公式推导,用所学公式解释自然现象,列举所学知识用于生产实践的实例,帮助学生理解艰涩的理论知识。Undergraduate courses, especially those aiming at application, should help students not only to understand knowledge, but also train students' skills of how to use the knowledge. Physical chemistry, as a more theoretical course, is also the same. Using Kelvin equation as an example, the paper discusses how to improve students' ability of utilizing related knowledge and understanding the knowledge more thoroughly. When teaching the equation, more understandable methods are selected, some natural phenomena related to the equation are explained and some industrial examples are employed, to help students understand the abstract theory.
