摘　　要：独立学院在实现高等教育大众化,深化高等教育的改革中发挥着重要作用,是培养人才的重要阵地,肩负着时代的重任。如何全面加强、探索、实践独立学院大学生素质教育,是值得独立学院学生管理工作者共同探讨的话题。该文通过对西安交通大学城市学院大学生素质教育实践经验的总结,提出了高校推进素质教育的可行之路。Independent colleges play an important role in realizing the popularization and deepening the reform of higher education. Therefore, they occupy an important place in fostering talents and shouldering the heayy responsibility of the age. It is a worthy topic for the student management personnel to study together how to comprehensively explore, strengthen and implement quality-oriented education at independent colleges. This paper proposes the feasible ways for promoting quality-oriented education by summarizing the practice experience drawn from Xian Jiaotong University City College.
