摘　　要：公安院校承担着为我国公安机关输送合格的公安专门人才的历史使命。特定的培养目标和公安教育的性质,决定了公安院校必须培养大学生具有正确的政治立场和勇于献身的高尚情操。发挥大学生英雄典型内在的示范价值与激励价值,充分利用时代英雄典型的社会影响力,有助于提高公安院校大学生的思想政治素质,帮助学生塑造良好的警察职业精神,提升公安院校的育人成效。Colleges and universities of public security shoulder the historical mission of cultivating and preparing qualified personnel for public security organs ,and it is their specific training target and the nature of public security education that determines that these academies must make sure that their students should have the firm and right political stand and the noble spirit of devotion .Therefore,to give full play to the inherent exemplary value and inspiring value of heroic models,and to make full use of the social influence of those heroic models of the modern times may be of great help to the improvement of the students′ideological and political qualities ,the establishment of professional spirit of the police ,and the promotion of the educational effectiveness of public security academies .
