摘  要:山竹醇是来源于印度藤黄和其他相关种类植物的多聚异戊二烯基苯甲酮。尽管这种水果在热带地区已经使用了上百年,但它的生物活性,尤其是它的抗癌潜能是在近年来的科学研究中才发现的。一些研究显示,山竹醇对多种癌具有抗癌潜能,包括乳腺癌、结肠癌、胰腺癌、口腔癌、肝细胞癌和白血病等。山竹醇的抗癌特性通过抗氧化、抗炎、抗增殖及诱导细胞凋亡和抑制组蛋白乙酰转移酶所表现出来。目前就山竹醇的抗癌特性而言,它是一种有前途的抗癌剂,但是后期还需要相关的动物实验研究和临床试验,更充分地了解并确认其化学预防和/或治疗潜力。Garcinol is a polyisoprenylated benzophenone derived from Garcinia indica and other related species. Although the fruit has been consumed traditionally over centuries in tropical regions, its biological activities, es- peciaally its anticancer potential, is a result of recent scientific investigations. Some studies have shown the poten- tial of this compound against several kinds of cancers including breast, colon, pancreatic, oral, hepatocellular and leukemia. The anti-carcinogenic properties of garcinol appear to be mediated via its anti-oxidative activity, an- ti-inflammatory activity, anti-proliferation and inducing apoptosis as well as inhibiting histone acetyltransferases. At the present time, garcinol is a promising anticancer agent in terms of its anticancer properties, subsequent in- vestigations in relevant animal models and clinical trials chemopreventive and/or therapeutic potential. are warranted in order to fully appreciate and confirm its
