摘　　要：本文以河南、山东的6所本科院校的240名二年级的英语专业学生为研究对象,以问卷调查的形式,从学生对写作的态度和认识、习惯和方法、困难和问题、教师的教学情况、英语写作的课程设置、学生每周用于写作的时间、及对写作课的要求等方面了解英语专业写作教学的现状,发现写作教学中的一些问题,提出改进英语专业写作教学的一些策略。This study involves 240 sophomores of English major in 6 universities of Henan and Shandong provinces, The questionnaire includes students＇ attitudes towards this course and their understanding, habits, methods, difficulties and problems of English writing, teaching, writing curriculum, students＇ time spent in writing every week, requirements of this course and so on. Through the survey, we want to know the present situation of English writing instruction, try to find the problems and finaUy put forward some strategies to improve it.
