摘　　要：庞德在体会叶芝(William Butler Yeats,1865-1939)象征主义(symbolism)及福特·马多克斯·福特(Ford Madox Ford,1873-1939)印象主义(impressionism)诗歌观点的基础上,开创了新一代意象派诗歌流派,其诗歌意象具有鲜明的现代性想象、现代性焦虑及现代性身份思考等特征,对20世纪欧美现代派文学的发展起到了重大作用。Having experienced Yeats （William Butler Yeats,1865-1 939）symbolism and Ford maddox Ford （Ford Madox Ford,1873-1 939）impressionism and even based on their views of poetry,Pound created a new generation of imagist poetry genre.His poetry image had distinct modernity imagination, modernity identity anxiety,modernity thinking characteristics and played a major role in the development of modernist school in Europe and the United States in the twentith century.
