摘　　要：大革命失败后,人们以社会经济史的眼光来观察社会现象的发展、探讨社会的形态及其变迁的新趋向,使中国社会经济史研究迅速兴起。然而,在社会史论战中,运用马克思主义唯物史观试图重新研究中国社会经济史时,简单化、公式化运用唯物史观的倾向明显,一度陷入"谩骂式"政论。在反思社会史论战的过程中,在理论与材料关系方面,人们理直气壮地倡言史料,重视史料。陶希圣也积极倡导搜集史料,主张史料与理论并重,掀起了所谓的"食货运动"。The observation of the social phenomena and the discussion about the social formation and its new changing trend from the perspective of social and economic history promoted the rapid rise of research on Chinese social and economic history. However, there is an obvious trend of simplistically and formulaically applying materialist conception of history when Marxist materialism is used to re - study Chinese social and economic history, once falling into a hurling - abuse political debate. In the process of reflection on the controversy of social history,in the aspect of theory and material relations, the historical data are justly and forcefully advocated and valued. TAO Xisheng also actively advocated the collection of historical materials, and the equal importance of historical and theoretical propositions,launching the so - called ＂Shihuo movement＂.
