论佛教造像艺术中的“尚圆”美学

摘　　要：在佛教的发展过程中,基于宗教思想传播的需要,出现了"以像施教"的方式,形成了以佛陀为中心的丰富的佛教造像艺术。文章以佛陀造型的圆形形式为研究对象,运用文化分析的方法,揭示了在圆形中蕴涵的佛教观念,探究这种观念形成的文化原因,表明对圆形的崇尚是佛教造像艺术的美学理想的观点。In the course of the development of Buddhism, in order to spread the religion, there emerged a meth-od of conveying Buddhist doctrines through statues, which attained a result of the development of the sculptureof Buddhist statues with the statues of Buddha as the core. After having studied the circular shaped Buddhiststatues by doing a cultural analysis, this article reveals the Buddhist notion that circles imply, and its culturalreasons. It also indicates that the preference for circles is an aesthetic view point of the sculpture of Buddhiststatues.
