摘　　要：由于民族固有的世界观与自然观,中国的城市自古以来就具有暂时性、动态更新的特点。同时随着现代主义与全球化进一步促进城市多元化,在发展与历史并重的今天,城市保护与更新的话题一直未曾间断,本文从历史保护中的整体性与反绅士化的角度阐释历史保护在城市发展与建设中所产生的的作用,强调城市更新与发展中具有自主意识的重要性。Chinese cities were temporary and atways dynamic updated due to the inherent ethnic and nature view of the world since ancient times. Nowadays, modernism and globalization stimulate the Chinese cities＇ diversities. In the context of discussion about urban development and preservation, this paper demonstrates how the notion of integrity and anti-gentrification influence the urban construction. The paper also argues that self-awareness plays an significant role in the process of urban renewal and evolution.
