摘 要:现代大学英语教学的普遍趋势是重语言技能轻人文素质。随着社会的发展,对人才的要求和定义也在不断的发展和变化,对学生人文素质的培养和提高已不容忽视。语境由于其特殊的功能对大学英语教学中强化人文教育有着重要的作用。在大学英语教学中渗透人文教育的过程中,语言语境、情景语境和文化语境相辅相成,让学生在语境中去感知语言知识和人文知识所蕴含的人文精神。Modern college English teaching generally tends to attach importance to language skills while overlook humanistic education,whereas with the development of the society, the requirements and definition of talents are also in constant development and change, and thecultivation and improvement of students humanities cannot be ignored. Due to its special functions, context plays an important role in strength-ening the humanistic education in college English teaching. In the process of humanistic permeation in college English teaching, linguistic con-text, situational context and context of culture complement one another, which enables the students to percept the humanities, contained in linguistic knowledge and humanistic knowledge, in context.
