Defect Feature on the Band Gap of the One-Dimensional Photonic Crystal with the Single Center-Doped Defect Layer

摘  要:在一维光子晶体(1D PC)结构中心掺杂单个缺陷层,采用传输矩阵法,通过Fortran语言编程进行数值计算,获得了中心掺杂单缺陷层一维光子晶体透射谱;分析并讨论了改变缺陷层折射率值(n′2,n′3)、缺陷层两端的基本周期层数N等因素时光子带隙的缺陷特性。结果表明,在一定范围内调节缺陷层折射率n′2或n′3的值,缺陷带隙的透射率的值呈明显先增大后减小的趋势;此外,在(n′2,n′3)=(2.0,3.0)的条件下,随着N从3增加至10,缺陷带隙的透射率值迅速从0.735 9降至0.032 4,缺陷带隙频宽也相应地从0.047 0减小至0;而光子带隙的归一化频率均为0.230 0-0.320 0,即N不影响光子带隙的频宽。The single defect layer was doped in the center of the one-dimensional photonic crystal(1D PC).Using the transfer matrix method,the transmittance spectra of the 1D PC with the single center-doped defect layer were obtained by the numerical calculation with Fortran program.The defect feature of the photonic band gap was analyzed and discussed under different refractive index values(n′2,n′3)of the defect layer and different basic cycle layer number N at both ends of the defect layer.The results demonstrate that the transmittance of the defect band gap center increases firstly and then decreases obviously by adjusting the refractive index n′2 or n′3 value within a certain range.Besides,under the condition of(n′2,n′3)=(2.0,3.0),the transmittance of the defect band gap decreases from0.735 9 to 0.032 4 rapidly with the Nvalue increases from3 to 10,and the frequency width of the defect band gap accordingly decreases from0.047 0to 0.But the normalized frequency of the photonic band gap is 0.230 0-0.320 0,i.e.the N value cannot affect the frequency width of the photonic band gap.
