英语体育新闻中的概念元功能

摘　　要：韩礼德的语言三个元功能分别是:概念元功能、人际元功能和篇章元功能。通过对直接体育新闻和体育专栏的语言特征作比较,发现直接体育新闻报道的任务是用最直接的方式告诉读者赛场发生的事情,重视赛场选手的表现,重视物质过程和关系过程。体育专栏的主要任务不仅是报道比赛,还对比赛作出评论或判断,它更加重视心理过程。Halliday＇s three metafunctions include ideational metafunction, interpersonal metafunction and textual recta- function. This essay tries to make a contrastive analysis of direct sports news and sports columns from the perspective of ideational metafunction. Direct sports news informs readers what has happened in the sports field,focusing on the substance process as well as the relational process. By contrast, sports columns not only report matches but also make judgments and comments on them, paying more attention to the mental process.
