英语专业发展的困境与对策——基于湖北省省属本科院校的调查

摘　　要：通过对湖北省省属本科院校的调查发现,英语专业面临着培养目标、培养计划同质化、人才质量下降、思辨能力欠缺、人文素养低、就业困难等问题,建议英语专业因校制宜,结合各级各类型院校的特色和优势,多元化、多层次培养适合经济社会发展的国际化创新性人才。Through the investigation of provincial undergraduate colleges and universities,it finds out that English major is confronted with homogenous cultivation objective and plan,decreasing talent quality,deficient critical thinking skills,declining humanistic quality,employment difficulties and so on. It suggests that English major should combine the special features and advantages of institutions of various types at various levels to cultivate international innovative talents suitable for the development of society and economy.
