摘  要:建国初期,由于经济困难,党吸取老解放区的办学经验提倡群众办学。与此同时,翻身解放的群众也迫切希望接受教育。贵州群众发扬集资办学的优良传统,在教育部门和基层领导支持下,克服经费来源、师资等困难,将民办小学逐步地发展起来。但是由于农村经济基础薄弱,农村民办小学生存仍很困难,因此国家必须承担起普及义务教育的责任。Due to financial difficulties,the CPC,with the experiences of education in the old China's Liberated Areas,encouraged the masses to run the school education in the early years of the People's Republic of China.At the same time,emancipated people were eager to accept education.Supported by the education sectors and grassroots leaders,the masses in Guizhou promoted the fine tradition of setting up schools with fund-raising,overcoming difficulties such as sources of funding and teachers and gradually developing the rural private primary schools.The weak economic foundation in the rural areas,however,led to the difficult survival of the private primary schools.The government,therefore,must bear the responsibility of popularizing the compulsory education.
