摘　　要：文章从生态批评视角对加拿大"动物小说之父"欧内斯特·汤普森·西顿的动物小说体现的生态思想进行解读,指出人不是万物的主宰,要尊重自然,善待生命。作者认为只有回归自然,共襄和谐,才是生命永续发展的唯一途径。This thesis ,approaching Ernest Thompson Seton’s animal novels from an eco-critical perspective ,is to make a full exploration into Seton’s ecological thoughts .Human beings are not the domination of all living creatures .We should respect na‐ture ,take good care of life .Returning to nature and enjoying harmony together is the only approach to life perpetual elaboration .
