从认知凸显视角看时间特征与时空隐喻的相似性

摘　　要：时间具有抽象性,人们利用具体的空间词汇描述时间,即通过空间隐喻认识时间。从认知凸显视角分析时间特征,发现其与时空隐喻之间具有相似性。英汉两种语言中时空隐喻都凸显了时间的伸缩性、线性和方向性特征。Spatial-temporal metaphors are formed in the process of time cognition when concrete spatial words are employed to describe abstract time.This paper studies the similarities between time attributes and spatial-temporal metaphors from the perspective of prominence.It is found out that the time attributes of flexibility,linearity and directedness are salient in spatial-temporal Chinese and English metaphors.
