摘　　要：文章分析了外语在公共图书馆各方面工作中的应用及重要性。图书馆员要重视自身知识结构的完善与外语水平的提高,争取能精通一到两门外语,才能适应时代对图书馆员的要求。This paper analyzes the application and importance of public library work. Librarians should pay attention to improving foreign language their knowledge in all aspects of the structure and improve the level of foreign language, strive to master a language or two, in order to adapt the requirements of the times for librarians.
