《金瓶梅》中的人物之死与“性”——兼及小说的定性问题

摘　　要：以西门庆为主角的《金瓶梅》,书中用百分之七八十的篇幅写了他与众多人的鬼混;又写到了近三十个人物的死亡,而占死掉总数百分之九十的人物的死因,也与性事有着或直接或间接的关联。这促使我们不得不重新审视这样一部以"性"为其主体内容和题材特征之小说的定性问题。《金瓶梅》到底是一部什么性质的小说?这本是一个基础性的问题,而往往,基础性的问题却并不是简单和易于解答的问题。Ximen Qing is the protagonist in Jin Ping Mei. The description on his fooling around with number of women accounts for seventy to eighty percent of the length of the novel. Meanwhile,the death of nearly thirty people is depicted,and about ninety percent of their death is directly or indirectly related to sex. This urges us to have to re- determine the nature of the novel whose main content and theme are sex. The issue about the nature of Jin Ping Mei is originally a basic problem,but such a problem is often too difficult to answer.
