默默无闻暗香在,“奇葩”亦当有春天——试论邵洵美的翻译思想

摘　　要：尽管邵洵美翻译思想在理论层面上仍为经验式和随感式的,且其中"为艺术"的翻译观与当时"为人生"的主流翻译观相抵触,但是,邵氏的诸多独到的翻译见解颇具见地,具有翻译理论史的价值。然而,现当代译论史家一直对邵洵美翻译思想这朵"奇葩"视而不见。鉴于此,本文将其与同时期其他译论进行比较与对比,并从当时的社会历史、文化背景来分析它们相异同的原因,以期客观、全面地呈现邵洵美翻译思想的特色,以彰显邵洵美翻译思想的独特性和超越性,使其拥抱迟到的"春天"。Despite the fact that SHAO Xun-mei＇s translation theory is empirical and informal in theoretical dimension,that its notion of＂for-art＇s – sake＂conflicts with the＂for-life＇s-sake＂mainstream of the time,many of his translation ideas are of great values to the history of translation theories. However,SHAO Xun-mei＇s translation theory as an exotic flower is ignored or neglected by the modern and contemporary translation theorists for a long time. So,the authors of the present paper try to focus on SHAO＇s translation theories by means of comparison and contrast with his contemporaries＇,with a view to finding out the reasons of their differences and similarities from the perspective of the social,historical and cultural backgrounds of that time,with the hope that the features of SHAO Xun-mei＇s translation theories will be objectively and entirely presented and then its originality and transcendence will be highlighted,which brings them the delayed spring.
