摘　　要：辽西郡承担"北边"重要防卫区段。其守备条件和军事地位的特殊性,与同时联系沿海地方的交通形势有关。在战国环渤海地区文化发展的基础上,因大一统政治格局的形成,西汉辽西交通获得了更好的发展条件。秦二世巡行辽东与秦二世时代"治直道、驰道"的关系,不宜忽视。辽西地方实现"北边道"和"并海道"的交接,在军事地理和交通地理位置上均有重要的战略意义。并海交通道路的规划和建设,利用了辽西走廊"地势平衍"的自然地理条件。Liao Shi Prefecture was an important defense sector in the north. The particularity of its defense condition and military status was related to the traffic situation which linked both the coastal area and the main- land. Based on the warring States period＇s cultural development of Bohai Rim, the traffic of Liao Shi Prefecture gained better development conditions in Western Han dynasty due to the formation of a unified political structure. Emperor the Second of Qin dynasty ＇ s cruise in Liao Dong and the building of the expressway and speedway dur- ing his reign should not be ignored. The connection of the ＂North way＂and the ＂Sea way＂in this area is of great strategic significance both in military and traffic geography. The planning and construction of road and sea traffic took advantage of the Liao Shi Corridor＇s ＂open and flat terrain＂.
