摘　　要：在自传体小说《我知道笼中鸟为何歌唱》中,玛雅的成长历程就是一个持续转换"人格面具"的过程,展现了文化冲突下黑人女性的成长与困惑和自我意识的觉醒,展示了黑人女性打破沉默,努力寻求自我话语权的心路历程。In I Know Why Caged Bird Sings,an autobiographic novel written by Maya Angelo,the author uses the theory＂persona＂as the way to recount story,describing the gradual development of the black heroine＇s characteristics from an imaginative child to a negative and decadent victim of discrimination against black people,and finally to an adamant youngest who can face up to all the unfairness.And the whole tough process reveals the confusions,awakening of self consciousness and growing up of African-American females under cultural conflicts,as well as their desire to break the silence imposed by the society and to gain their discourse rights.
