摘　　要：孔子一生历经坎坷,在家庭、教学、从政为官、周游列国等方面扮演了不同的人生角色,于矛盾冲突中自求解脱与调适。以世俗的眼光分析解读圣人的"谋食""谋道"过程,感受圣人的心理历程,体察其厄遇困顿与坚贞不渝。青年学子理应从孔子不懈求索、不轻易放弃的崇高品性中得以启发与借鉴。Confucius not only experienced plenty of ups and downs in his career and livelihood through- out his life, but was bewildered by the social reality at his times. This paper analyzes the different so- cial roles of Confucius as ＂Official Seeker＂ and ＂Bread winner＂, and ponders the great sage＇s spiritual journey in a secular way. The perseverance and persistence of Confucius, which were shown in face of hardships and setbacks all his life, are a great legacy for the youngsters to respect and treasure today.
