摘　　要：以辩证唯物主义和历史唯物主义为理论基础,采用考古学、社会学和人类学综合研究的方法,以旧石器时代、新石器时代、奴隶社会时代人类的文化活动痕迹为实证依据,对体育起源过程和体育产生的历史时期进行考察。在对体育"是什么"进行界定的基础上,以体育产生需满足的条件为筛选标准,考察了不同历史阶段"体育"发生、发展的具体形态,最终推论出合格的体育形成于奴隶社会。Taking the dialectical materialism and historical materialism as the theoretical basis,by the methods of archaeology,comprehensive research of sociology and anthropology,taking the traces of human cultural activities for the empirical basis in Paleolithic era,Neolithic era and slave society,the article discusses the origin process and different periods of sports formation. Based on the definition of＂what is ＂sport,taking the forming condition of sport as screening criteria,the article examines the specific occurrence and development configuration of sport in different periods and points out that the qualified sport formed in the slave society at last.
