摘　　要：空间作为社会存在的场所,对社会互动,社会行为以及社会事实都具有重要的影响,但是长期以来空间维度却在社会学的理论发展中被忽视了。从社会学发展的角度,从孟德斯鸠,齐美尔,到芝加哥学派再到新城市学派的发展脉络出发,集中探讨空间的概念,及其对社会学的意义,空间社会学的相关理论的主要内容,以及空间研究方法和意义,来系统全面介绍空间社会学。Space,as a place that society exist in,have an important influence on social interact,social behavior and social fact.But the question of space has been ignored in sociological development. This article will present the following things to introduce space research in sociology systemically： the concept of the space and its meaning to sociology,the main thought of theory in sociology of space,the method and the importance of space research.
