摘　　要：《西北大学学报》与其前身刊物,自二十世纪二三十年代以来关注科学史研究,报道了世界著名科学史家李约瑟自1945年以来3次访问西北大学,中国科学史学科开拓者李俨对中算史的研究等,复自1980年起固定开设科学史专栏,发表了张伯声、杨钟健、秦元勋、李政道、丁肇中、王选、丘成桐、吴文俊、何炳郁、华觉明、李迪、李继闵、曲安京等著名科学家的700余篇科学史论文。重点对数理天文学史、医学史、地学史、科学思想史、科技期刊史等作了分析,认为学报对于西北大学科学史学科的创立与发展起到了重要的催化作用。Since the 1920s and 1930s, study on science history has been focused by Journal of Northwest University and its predecessor. Joseph Needham, the world famous historian of science, has visited Northwest University three times since 1945, and as a pioneer of Chinese science history, Li Yan＇s study on history of mathematics in China, were reported by Journal of Northwest University. Then science history column has been set up since 1980, and published famous scientists＇ more than 700 papers in science history, such as Zhang Bosh- eng, Yang Zhongjian, Qin Yuanxun, Li Zhengdao, Ding Zhaozhong, Wang Xuan, Qiu Chengtong, Wu Wenjun, He Bingyu, Hua Jueming, Li Di, Li Jimin, Qu Anjing, and so on. The thesis focused on the analysis of the history of mathematical astronomy, medical history, geographical history, history of scientific thoughts, history of scientific journal, etc. It is concluded that Journal of Northwest University played an important role in promoting the establishment of science history in Northwest University.
