赵朴初的人间佛教思想及其现实意义

摘　　要：赵朴初的人间佛教思想有两点特别值得注意,一是他引证中印佛教的经典,为人间佛教的合理性提供了理论依据;二是他提倡人间佛教思想,是为了更好地担当新的历史时期的"人间使命"。人间佛教依然是佛法而不是世间学。觉悟人生、智慧解脱是佛教不变的根本宗旨。因此,人间佛教不能只有"人间"而没有"佛教",它只是强调佛法在世间,不离世间觉。佛教入世担当"人间使命",人间性不应遮蔽其"出世间"的宗教性和神圣性。同时,佛教作为宗教,是一种精神文化资源,能为人的精神世界提供资粮。佛教与社会主义社会相适应,不仅仅是引导信徒参与到经济建设中来,更不是简单的佛教搭台经济唱戏,而是在与社会主义国家的政治、法律和国家利益相一致的同时,还要为精神文明建设做贡献。在中国佛教文化繁荣发展的今天,重温赵朴初的人间佛教思想,对于引导佛教与社会主义社会相适应,更好地发挥佛教精神性资源的积极作用,具有重要的理论和现实意义。There're two points meriting special attention in Zhao Puchu's thought of Humanistic Buddhism,one is that he referred to Buddhist classics from India and China,which provides the theoretical basis for the rationality of Humanistic Buddhism,and the other is that he advocated thought of Humanistic Buddhism in order to better shoulder the World Mission in new historical period.Humanistic Buddhism is still kind of Buddhist doctrines,not a world learning.Life consciousness and wisdom liberation are forever basic aims of Buddhism.Therefore,Humanistic Buddhism is not only 'the World' without Buddhism,which only emphasizes that Buddhist doctrines are in the world.Buddhism goes into the world and shoulder the World Mission,while its inside-world aspects should not cover the religiosity and holiness of its outside-world nature.At the same time,as a religion,Buddhism is kind of spiritual cultural sources,which can provide nourishment for people's spiritual world.Nowadays,Buddhist culture develops very prosperously in China,reviewing Zhao Puchu's thought of Humanistic Buddhism has important theoretical and realistic significance in leading Buddhism to adapt socialist society and making full use of the positive aspects of Buddhist spiritual sources.
