摘 要:在中国文学作品走出去的翻译活动中,译作在海外的接受及影响力一直是备受关注且亟待解决的现实问题。以Goodreads和Amazon两大英文图书网站的调查研究为基础,用观察式实证调查研究的方法,从西方普通读者的视角来考察中国文学作品英译本在英语世界的接受情况,可以作为传统翻译研究资料的一个补充。同时,通过这种途径来考察西方普通读者的阅读取向以及反映在翻译中所存在的问题也颇有意义。The overseas reception and influence problem of the translated texts of Chinese literature works, which has attracted a lot of attention but still waits to be resolved, has been considered as an important link in the chain of the translation activity to promote Chinese literature works abroad. This paper tries to deal with the foregoing problem from the perspective of common readers in the western world on the basis of the research results of two big online--book websites--Goodreads and Amazon by using an observational approach of empirical study, which brings new evidences and materials to the traditional translation studies. Meanwhile, it can also help to know about the reading orientation and habits of the targeted readers and examine the problems existing in the translations.
