文化研究语境下的“文化中国”重新建构

摘　　要：中华优秀传统文化走向世界是当今文化研究的热点。海外华裔学者倡导的"新儒学"理念,对儒学大胆扬弃,有利于传统儒学的新生,为中华文化在全球华人世界的复兴树立了标杆。哈佛大学杜维明教授力主秉持"新儒学",建构"文化中国",旨在凝聚全球华人,跨越国籍限制,有望使之成为全球华人安身立命的精神家园。对于儒学复兴与"文化中国"的建构,作者加入了自己的理解,并提出从促进儒学推陈出新、适当弱化文化的政治倾向、融合儒家之外其他学派的精华之处、改善国民基本素质等四个方面多管齐下,重新建构"文化中国"。Chinese traditional culture research receives much attention nowadays. Overseas Chinese scholars advocate ＂Neo-Confusianism＂ as an innovative way to help traditional Confusianism make a new life. Professor Tu Wei-ming proposed a concept of ＂Cultural China＂, trying to create some kind of spiritual home for all Chinese people throughout the world. The author of this paper gives his own understanding of ＂Cultural China＂, and puts forward some suggestions about the reconstruction of ＂Cultural China＂ by de- veloping the theory of Confusianism, reducing the political element of culture, integrating Confusianism with the essence of other schools of Chinese philosophy and improving the cultural quality of citizens.
