摘　　要：本文探讨了《一个兼职印第安少年的超真实日记》中主人公阿诺所经历的最初对自我身份的不确定、迷惘痛苦阶段,到积极地建构新身份的过程,最终阿诺通过自己的努力获得了一个全新的混合的身份。This paper deals with the process of Arnold's identiy construction in The Absolutely True Diary of a Part-time Indian. Arnold went through three stages of identity constrction: the uncertain and painful stage; the actively construction stage and the final formation of his hybrid identity.
