摘　　要：安吉拉·卡特的短篇小说《艾德加·爱伦·坡的私室》具有明显的历史元小说特征,作者特意聚焦被传统历史小说忽视的边缘历史人物和事件,运用带有高度自涉性的叙事策略传递了卡特一贯的女性主义思想,体现了她对历史开放性解读的追求。The Cabinet of Edgar Allen Poe created by Angela Carter carries obvious characteristics of historiographic metafiction. Carter focuses on the marginal historical characters and events which are always conveniently ignored in the traditional historical novles. With the application of the self-reflexive narrative strategy, she successfully transmits her consistent feminist ideas and the pursuit of an open interpretation of history.
