High Precision Ranging Method for HF Surface Wave Radar Based on Sidelobe Information

摘  要:高频地波雷达在进行目标探测时,其距离分辨率常常远大于目标尺寸而使得测距误差增大且轨迹连续性较差.针对这一现状,通过利用距离旁瓣信息,依照sinc函数模型进行插值,提出了两种三元插值方法,并将插值后得到的估计距离与由船舶自动识别系统(AIS)提供的船只GPS定位信息计算得到的距离进行了对比.对比结果表明:相对不插值的结果,两种三元插值方法都可以在计算量增加很小的情况下有效提高测距精度.尤其是三元二次插值法,它可以将测距精度提高16%以上,有时甚至可以达到31%.While detecting targets by using High Frequency Surface Wave Radar (HFSWR),the range resolution is often far greater than target size and that leads to increasing ranging error and poor trace continuity.In order to solve this situation,two ternary interpolation methods were proposed by using the sidelobe information and interpolating in accordance with the sinc function model,the range esti-mated after interpolation was compared with the one calculated from GPS information provided by the Automatic Identification System (AIS).The results show both ternary interpolation methods can im-prove ranging accuracy effectively with a small calculation amount increasing relative to the results with-out interpolation.Especially the ternary quadratic interpolation method can increase ranging accuracy by more than 1 6%,and the percentage can even reach 31% sometimes.
