基督教会在乌蒙山区苗族社会中举办的教育事业探析

摘　　要：20世纪伊始,在乌蒙山区传教的基督教会开始把西方现代教育引进乌蒙山区的苗族社会中,逐步建立起了乌蒙山区苗族社会的现代化教育体系。虽然各教会的办学方式、办学特点不尽相同,但共同点是把现代化的教育观念、思想、体系和制度带进了乌蒙山区的苗族社会中,并将乌蒙山区的彝族、傈僳族、汉族等民族卷入其中,成为这一地区现代化教育的奠基之举,也是乌蒙山区苗族社会"非典型现代化运动"1的发轫。From the 20th century, the Christian churches in Wumeng Mountain Area began to introduce western mod- ern education into Miao society and set up a modern education system in that area. Although the churches varied from one another in their educational modes and characteristics, they brought modern educational ideas, thoughts, system and in- stitution into Miao society. Moreover, they involved Yi, Lisu and Han nationalities into the new education system, which laid a foundation for the modern education development of this area as well as triggered the ＂Atypical Modernization Movement＂ of the Miao society of Wumeng Mountain Area.
