《新视野大学英语(读写教程)》有待再修订

摘　　要：大学英语教材研究是大学英语教学研究的一部分。反复使用《新视野大学英语》这套教材之后发现它具有如下优点:篇章主题能教育人感染人,具有人文教育作用;读写策略丰富具体。同时也有些许不足:部分网址不正确、少数参考答案有误、个别短语的拼写和中文译文不正确、缺乏《课程要求》中规定的应用文、翻译技巧、学习策略等信息。反思教材有利于更好地修订教材和有取舍地使用教材,从而提高大学英语教学效果。College English textbook research helps to promote College English teaching and learning. New Horizon College English （reading and writing） textbook is excellent in that most of the passages are about educational, inspiring, humanistic caring topics, and all kinds of reading and writing techniques are illustrated comprehensively in it. Of course, the textbook has some problems too, for example, some websites provided in the Online Resources Part after the text are incorrect, quite a few answers to the exercises are wrong, and some phrases are spelled and translated into Chinese incor- rectly. Besides, the textbook provides no information about practical writing skills, translation techniques, learning strat egies, etc, which are required in the College English Curriculum Requirements. The textbook research and evaluation benefits textbook revision and selectively using.
