摘　　要：对杨宪益、时钟雯、刘荣恩三位译者的《窦娥冤》译本进行定量比较分析,旨在研究三个英文译本中使用的翻译策略,以及翻译者对翻译策略的选取与其自身的文化定位和文化背景关系。通过比较研究,发现了不同翻译背后隐藏的原因,并由此探讨哪位译者的翻译更贴近原著。In this paper, a comparative study of Dou E Yuan is conducted on a basis of qualitative research from the three versions by Yang Hsien - yi, Chung - wen Shih and Liu Jung- en. It aims at studying the translation strategies in the three English versions. This paper is an attempt to explore that the translator＇ s choice of translation strategies is closely related to their cultural stand and background. From the comparative study, it tries to find the reasons behind the different translations and explore which translators＇ translation is much closer to the original.
