摘　　要：目前的大学英语写作教学中普遍存在将写作与阅读割裂的现象。写作教学过分强调写作这门课程的独立性,忽视写作与阅读之间相辅相成、相互依赖的密切联系。将英美文学作品阅读融入英语写作教学是极有必要的。学生通过对英美文学作品的阅读和鉴赏,能够增强学生进行英语写作的兴趣,提高学生篇章构筑能力,提高灵活运用语言的能力和跨文化交际的能力,从而提高学生英语写作水平。In the present, the fragmentation of English writing and reading is a widespread phenomenon in the teaching of English writing, in which the independence of the writing is overemphasized, ignoring the mutual complement and mutual dependence between writing and reading. It is extremely necessary for English teachers to add British and American literature to the teaching of English writing . By reading and appreciation of British and American literary works, students can enhance the interest in English writing, promote students' ability in constructing a composition , improve the ability of using language and cross-cultural communication, so as to improve students' English writing level.
