摘　　要：华中师范大学的发展目标是建设具有教师教育特色的研究型综合大学,现有馆藏资源是文科资源过剩、理科不足、工科几乎空白,满足不了教学发展的需求。因此,需要对馆藏资源建设进行调整,在保证各学科资源总体均衡的基础上,加强理工科文献资源建设,要求能从保障基本运行提升到引导学科发展。With a history of over 100 years, Central China Normal University （CCNU） is strong in liberal arts, but a little weak in science, and short of technology and engineering. Keeping the traditional advantage in liberal arts, optimizing existing science subjects, and developing technology and engineering, CCNU plans to build itself into a comprehensive research university featuring education for teachers. The library resource thus won＇t be suitable for the future. According to the different characteristics and levels of disciplines, therefore, reallocating library resource will be conducive to discipline development.
