欧洲中世纪大学和中国古代大学的比较研究

摘　　要：欧洲中世纪大学和中国古代大学都是培养人才、研究高深学问的机构,但是它们产生的背景不同,在办学性质、培养目标、教学内容、教学方法、考试与学位制度和内部组织与管理形式方面均存在着差异,这些差异导致了东西方大学发展的不同走向,并对后世的高等教育发展产生了深远的影响。近代中国摒弃了古代官学、书院的传统,学习西方大学建立了近代高等教育的体系;形式上学习了西方大学的模式,内核上却对太学有着天然的继承性,故其仍然是政府行政机构的延伸,大学自治、学术自由较难实现。The universities in Medieval Europe and ancient China are both aimed at cultivating talented persons and researching profound knowledge. But they are different in background, nature character, training objects, teaching content, teaching methods, examination and de- gree system and internal organization and management. These differences deeply influence the development of higher education on later generations. Universities in contemporary China a- bandoned the tradition of official schools and Seowon, set up the western higher education sys- tem. Neverthelegs, this school-running system learned from the western university mode in form and inherited the nature of imperial college, therefore, it is still the continuity of administrative organs, and the university autonomy and academic freedom are difficult to achieve.
