摘　　要：对所见所闻的美国社会现象和生活现实的梳理和思考,发现美国的文化伦理特征是个人主义的,追求个人自由和享受的,但同时又有社会行善互助的良好风气。美国年轻人的性开放被社会接受,但对待婚姻较为严肃;美国人的人际关系淡漠,但对不同人群较为宽容;美国人注重人的尊严,视任何职业的人都是平等的,但同时认为劳动是平等和尊严的基础;美国人的自立、自主教育形成了美国人个性直率、诚实、自信的个人素质等等。讨论美国社会的文化和伦理,对践行社会主义核心价值观、提高全民道德修养具有一定的借鉴意义。Reflections upon what is seen and heard find that the cultural and ethical characteristics in the American society are individualistic, in the pursuit of individual freedom and enjoyment, and a friendly atmosphere of benev- olence and mutual help. American young people＇s sexual freedom is socially accepted, but they are very serious in their marriage ; American interpersonal relationship is weak, but they are rather tolerant of different groups ; Ameri- cans attach great importance to human dignity, believing that people of different professions are equal and that labor is the basis of equality and dignity; The American independence and self-reliance enables them to be straightfor- ward, honest and confident. The discussion of culture and ethics in American society is of certain referential signifi- cance to practice the socialist core values and to improve the national moral cultivation.
