摘　　要：英语演讲能有效地提高学生对英语的应用能力。成功的英语演讲能够有效地使用语言模态及非语言符号模态,不仅语言方面要突出主题,思想独特,而且非语言方面要辅以声调、语调及语速等伴语言和目光、面部表情、头部动作及手势等体态语来配合。English speech skill can improve students＇ability to apply English effectively. A successful English speech is the one that language mode and non-language mode can be used effectively, that is, prominent theme and unique ideas are needed in the aspect of language, while in the aspect of non-language, tone, intonation and speed are needed, at the same time, sight, facial expression, head movement and gesture are needed.
