摘　　要：美国拥有世界先进、规模庞大的高等教育体系,但21世纪以来也一直面临着各种各样的挑战,包括:近年来大学学费快速上涨,贫困家庭学生难以承受;高中毕业生进入大学前学术准备不足,高校补习教育何去何从;高等学校学生毕业率停滞不前,有效受教育人数并未明显提高;大学生学习成效有待进一步提高;高等教育中的平等问题。文本通过对以上五个问题的分析,提出了相应对策及展望。America owns advanced big-size higher education system in the world but faces various challenges since the21st century, inclusive of rapid rise in tuition of institutions in late years beyond reach of students from poverty families;inadequate academic preparation for graduates from high schools, remedial class for institutions, stagnated rate of graduationfrom institutions, less obvious rise in number of students who receive valid higher education, college students＂ academicperformance yet to be improved; equality in higher education. Through the analysis of five problems above, the writer puts astrategy and outlook.
