摘　　要：短篇小说《福特斯科斯太太》讲述了弗雷德隐秘的成长。借喻性的标题、双重视角让弗雷德的成长具有一种隐秘的欺骗。故事将龌龊的家、酒及酒臭味、昏暗的伦敦街道、口红、手枪、睡裙、妓女、姐弟情和青春期的孤独、狂躁、堕落、暴力、性、阴谋、强奸、乱伦等因子黏合在一起,让弗雷德的成长模式中三个主要方面:失效的家、找寻和成长仪式具有强烈的黑暗、讽刺色彩。更为讽刺的是弗雷德的成长模式竟然和正常生活毫无违和感,他自然地步入了人生的新阶段。The short story＂Mrs. Fortescue＂is about Fred’s growing up,imperceptible and deceptive,to which metonymic title,double visions,symbolism and allusion work to contribute. The secrecy and deception of his growing-up schema mainly in three aspects of dysfunctional family,quest and growing-up ritual are fully represented in the intertwined factors such as the unpleasant family,liquor and its sickly reek,dark London streets,lipstick,gun,nightgown,whore,brother and sister relationship and teenager Fred’s loneliness,restiveness,moral fall,violence,sex,trick,rape and incest. For all the tricks and violence,Fred walks into a new life stage peacefully and normally,which is highly ironic.
