摘　　要：21世纪是一个全新的知识经济的时代,这个时期的发展主要依靠新的发现、发明研究和创新,而创新能否实现的核心问题取决于人才的创新精神、创新意识和创新能力。传统、陈旧的教学模式培养出来的人才已远远不能满足市场发展的需要,只有那些既能熟练掌握书本知识又能在社会实践中灵活运用的创新人才,才能给中原经济区发展注入新的活力。河南高校应以中原经济区建设为契机,以培养优秀人才为目标,积极探索创新人才培养模式,努力为实现中原经济区的战略目标做出应有的贡献。21st century is a new era of knowledge economy. The development of this period mainly relies on new discoveries, inventions and innovation. Whether innovation can be fulfilled or not essentially depends on innovative spirit, innovative consciousness and innovative ability of talent. The students who have trained in the traditional and old-fashioned teaching model cannot meet the needs of the development of the market, only those innovative talents who cannot only master book knowledge but also use them flexibly in the social practice can inject new vitality to the development of the central China economic zone. Henan universities should take the opportunity and explore cultivation model of innovative talents actively in order to cultivate excellent talents, then make the effort to achieve the strategic goals of the central China economic zone and make certain contribution.
