摘 要:李觏在早期《潜书》等著作中对孟子的"一夫"之论多所赞扬且具有鲜明的民本色彩,但至于晚年其在所著《常语》中却激烈批评孟子肆无忌惮地将作为"予一人"的君王变成了"独夫"。李觏一再强调不到万不得已,不要轻易改变现成的政治伦理秩序,而又同时表现出强烈的君本位立场。这种对民本和君本二元对立的执着皆因受到现代西方民主语境的影响使然,诚如刘述先所说,"然而有一点我们切不可以忘记,就是民本思想并不一定与君主思想互相矛盾。在中国传统政治思想的主流中,民本思想与君主思想反而是互相依存的。"In his early book Qianshu, Ligou held favorable opinion on Mencias' argument of "Yifu", which displays distinct democratic color; while in his later work Changyu, he criticized fiercely that Mencius had misunderstood the king for the tyrant. He had repeatedly stressed that the existing political and ethical order should not be changed easily, which reveals his strong king - oriented standpoint. This paper argues that the argument of binary opposition results from the influence of Western modern de- mocracy. Just as Liu Shu - hsien said, we can not forget that people - oriented thoughts is not necessarily contradictory to the monarch thought, since the people - oriented thought and that of the monarch are interdependent in the mainstream of Chinese traditional political ideology.
