摘 要:《小杜丽》中的自由间接引语在人物刻画和主题呈现的方式契合了巴赫金"杂合建构"和"伪客观动机"的概念,狄更斯充分利用自由间接引语灵活多变的特点,制造人物话语与叙述者话语间的含混性,刻画了一系列"Nobody"人物。自由间接引语不仅呈现了他们自我放逐、自我膨胀、自我湮没的形象,也勾勒了一张覆盖个人、家庭和社会的责任缺失全景图;为领略小说思想性与艺术性的完美结合,提供了管中窥豹的精彩片段。The usage of free indirect speech in portrayal of characters and presentation of themes in Little Dorritcoincides the concepts of hybrid construction and pseudo-objective motivation put forward by Mikhail Bakhtin. Dickens takes full advantage of the flexibility of free indirect speech to create ambiguity between the discourses of the characters and the narrator, thus presents the images of a series of Nobodies in the Novel. Free indirect speech is an important vehicle in portraying characters who are self-exiled, self- conceited and self-immersed, as well as criticizing the lack of responsibility in individuals, families and society. It provides a sample of the novel's perfect combination of thought and artistry.
