摘　　要：关节软骨是骨骼系统特殊而又重要的组成部分,但在中医学中,却未有明确的名称、解释或论述。通过对中医古籍中关于关节、关节软骨的解剖及生理、病理方面的描述进行归纳和总结,在"肾主骨"理论的指导下,结合现代科学对关节软骨生理特性及功能和病理的特点的认识,探讨肾与关节软骨之间的联系。Articular cartilage, as one of the important structure in skeletal system, has not been named, described or discussed clearly in traditional Chinese medicine. In this article ,records in ancient literature about anatomy ,physiology or pathology of joint and articular cartilage were collected and analyzed. In the light of kidney governs bone theory, based on the modern times understanding on characteristics and function of articular cartilage, the connection between kidney and articular cartilage ~s announced and analyzed.
