摘　　要：本文简要回溯了工程社会学和工程的社会评估的发展历程。二者分别属于理论领域和实际工作领域,需要相互支持、相互配合、相互渗透。工程社会学是进行工程社会评估的直接理论基础,是搞好工程社会评估的理论指导和理论保证;另一方面,工程的社会评估是工程社会学的首要应用场域,是推动工程社会学学科发展的强大的现实动力。工程的社会嵌入和社会排斥是常见的社会现象,是工程社会学中的重要概念和重要研究课题,是进行工程社会评估工作的重要"思维框架"。This article traces the development of the sociology and the social evaluation of engineering, which belong respectively to the theoretical and practical field, and which need to support, cooperate with, and fuse with each other. The sociology of engineering is the direct theoretical basis for the social evaluation of engineering. It provides the theoretical guidance and promises for an effective engineering evaluation. On the other hand, engineering evaluation is the immediate application of the sociology of engineering and the driving force of it. Both the social embeddedness and the social exclusion are common social phenomena, important concepts and research subjects of the sociology of engineering. They are important ＂thinking framework＂ for social evaluation of engineering.
