Objective To explore the effect of plan-do-check-action (PDCA) cycle mode on the incidence of adverse reactions and quality of life in patients with malignant glioma postoperative chemothera- py. Methods According to a stratified randomization method, 87 patients with malignant brain glioma were randomly divided into the observation group and the control group. The control group was given the routine nursing intervention during radiotherapy and chemotherapy, while the control group was given PDCA cycle mode, and two groups of the incidence of adverse reactions and the quality of life were observed. Results The observation group was significantly better than the control group in the incidence of adverse reactions, the difference between the two groups was significant ( P 〈 0. 05 ). The observation group was sig- nificantly higher than the control group in the score of the European Organzation for Research and Treatment of Cancer quality of life-C30 (EORTC QLQ-C30) scale, the difference between the two groups was signifi- cant (P 〈 0. 05). Conclusions PDCA cycle mode can significantly reduce the incidence of adverse reac- tion and improve the quality of life, it has important clinical value on the treatment for patients with malig- nant brain glioma.
