摘　　要：美国联邦政府通过立法,以多式联运为主导战略,发挥各种运输方式比较优势,提高整体运输效率,为美国继续保持经济优势和推进全球化战略提供了有力支撑。美国多式联运的发展经验,对我国经济发展进入新常态下的交通运输转型升级、提质增效具有较强借鉴意义。US federal govemment took multimodal transport as dominant strategy legally with full use of the comparative advantages of the various modes of transport, which provided a strong support for maintaining economic strengths and promoting globalization strategy for United States. China＇s economic development has mapped into the ＂new normal＂ stage and has some similarities with the US economy of 30 years ago; so China＇s transportation industry can study the experiences and lessons from US multimodal transport.
